Ok, so my friend Sofia tagged me like a year ago, haha, not really, but I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do. But apparently I am supposed to go into my picture file on my computer and post the 4th picture in the 4th file and then talk about it, so here it goes:
Ok, so I have like a million pictures in my computer and this was taken during youth confrence this last July. The girl in the picture is Katie Percival. she is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She is such a great example to her entire family and I'm thankful for the opportunity Matthew and I had to get to know her and her family. We met them in the Metro Ward (only English speaking ward on the island of Puerto Rico) and got to babysit her and her siblings for a little less then a week. In the picture she is sitting very reverntly listening to a talk given by one of our area authorities in Puerto Rico.
I tag: Emily, Susana, Denise, and Melissa Line
I'll be waiting...

Menifee School Board Winner!
My father-in-law, Ron Ulibarri, ran for the Menifee School Board here in our area. We just found out today that he won second place with 5,621 votes. We are so excited for him and know that he will do a great job. We were glued to our computer all day to wait for the final results. This morning he was a little discouraged because he was in 5th place, but fortunately only 60% of the votes were in. We were losing hope till 12:00pm today when he defeated two candidates with an amazing come back and was bumped up to second place. He truly deserved to win, he was out campaigning every day for the last few months. he even stood out in front of schools and just waived to students passing by with one of his signs. All the efforts were worth it.
This is a link to his campaign web page:

You can read the article in our local news paper from the interview he was given during the election from this link:

Halloween Party
Yesterday, we finally had our Halloween party. Here's our costumes
I danced all night and ate so much candy. Matthew was our DJ, he's become such a pro since doing all those youth dances. We had so much fun that we forgot about the pumpkin carving contest, but according to uncle Steve we had a tie between Elias', my brother, and my pumkin. I'll take that. LOL, I'm so competitive. Here's a picture of mine:
We made this awesome haunted tree in the middle of the island, I just love how it turned out.
We had all sorts of treats, you can see why I had so much of it.

Pumpkin Patch
We're having a Halloween Potluck Party the 25th and asking people to bring a carved pumpkin for our carved pumpkin contest. This is the little flyer I made.So we picked up our pumpkins at a local pumpkin patch called Tom's Farms. We had our neices with us and they had a great time. OK, I didn't realize how big of a deal pumpkin patches were now a days. They had rides, a petting zoo, jumpers, a lot of good food, and they even had pony rides. It was like an amusement park.
Anyway, I picked a really good pumpkin for Matthew to carve and enter into the contest. I'm such a perfectionist...it had to be flawless and perfectly round. I have a feeling we're gonna win!

Happy Fall
Last Sunday we decorated to get ready for Halloween and Thanksgiving. I love decorating, it's therapeutic for me. Autumn is definitely my favorite season, I love the colors that the weather brings to the trees and the temperature is perfect...not too cold or too hot. I'm so excited to be here at this time. This is the first time Matthew and I have spent Halloween and Thanksgiving with the family as a married couple.

Little Rebekah
Sofia this is for you. I wanted to show you how much Alma's baby has grown. She is the cutest little thing, I just love her. She is starting to laugh already and it is the cutest thing to watch. She loves to eat...can you tell? I wish she would stay this age forever.

I'm gonna be an auntie...again!
We just found out two days ago that My brother Elias and his wife April are expecting. I'm so excited for them. They're hoping it's a boy, just like me they want that boy first. We'll see. Congratulations you two!!!
~Scruffy~
Matthew and I were asked to watch our Bishop's puppy over the weekend. He is such a good little dog, very loving and energetic. We had a lot of fun with him. Matthew used to like cats but Scruffy transformed him into a dog lover. I told him we can have a one as long as I won't have to do anything...but I doubt that'll happen. It's like having another child.
Kickball Madness
Our ward had a Kickball game last week. It was a battle between "The Kickball Destroyers" and "Yo Mama". Of course the ladies won, go yo mamas! LOL. It was a great turnout, we have about 300 people in our ward so the benches were full. We had hotdogs and a bunch of other goodies. We ended the night with a movie projected on a huge screen out in the park. I love activities like this, it helps everyone get to know eachother.
Here's my father-in-law being referee.

Time for a Little Change
Matthew and I remodeled our room a few weeks ago. We needed more closet space so we bought new armoires from IKEA and a new bed to match our bedroom set. It took a lot of hard work and frustration to put them together but it was well worth it. I love how it all came out. It gives our room a fresh new look. The mattress is a temperpedic. It is the best investment I've ever made. I haven't woken with a sore back ever since we got it. It makes up for the horrible mattress we have in Puerto Rico. I swear I'm gonna burn that mattress when we're done with it. It sinks in the middle making a bowl shape so I feel like I'm sleeping on a hill. I could never get a good night's rest when I sleep in it. Thank goodness for temperpedics, they are the best.

Long time no post.
It seems like forever since the last time I posted. I have been busier than ever, but everything is good and we keep moving forward with school. We've done a few things beside work and school, I just haven't had time to post. Here's a summary of what we've been doing.
Two weeks ago Matthew and I revisited Disneyland without the family, it was just him and I. We had so much fun, the park was pretty much empty. I think the longest we had to wait for a ride was 15 minutes. It was nice because we got to go on all the new rides that usually have a huge line in front of them.
This is part of the submarine ride remade with the Finding Nemo characters.
I don't remember it being so cramped in there but it was, this is the best picture we could get.
...Last week we finally got to go to the temple. The San Diego temple was open 24hrs for the weekend, our ward was assigned to go for 5 hours from 8pm-1am. It was a beautiful experience, especially because we were able to be there at odd hours of the day.
...And we had a huge birthday party for two of our cousins, Isabella and Ayssa. We were super busy decorating and entertaining. The theme was peterpan/tinkerbell. I've never done so much for a birhtday party, their parents went all out. Too bad I didn't take any pictures, but I think my mother-in-law did, I'll have to post later. I dressed up as Peter Pan and was the face painting lady. All I have is this picture of Naomi with her face painted. We had a blast.

Happy Birthday Me!
I turned 25 today! I was awaken by singing and presents this morning, I got clothes, which is what I need, a very nice frame for my diploma, and $300 gift card to shop for more stuff, whoo hoo! I can't believe how old I'm getting. This year has been challenging but very rewarding and I'm so excited for the future. Also for my birthday my family took me out to dinner. We went to the Iron Wok, a really good chinese food restaurant.
This was my free birthday dessert
I had a great birthday, thank you all for your calls and birthday wishes!

Disneyland
We finally had a break from our busy lives and went to Disneyland on Saturday. It was so much fun, which is the reason why I didn't take too many pictures. I just wanted to relax and enjoy myself. We got annual passes, so we can go several times more.
I hope all of you are doing well
