First Haircut

Little Uzziah was blessed with so much hair when he was born and since then it's grown so much, his hair was down passed his cheeks almost. I had to take him to get a haircut before people start thinking he's a girl. He did really well, he got a little fussy towards the end. I couldn't believe how much older it made him look. He's growing so fast.

*Merry Christmas*

We had a great Christmas this year. Like usual we celebrate Christmas and open gifts on Christmas Eve with my parents and then open gifts with Matthew's family on Christmas day. Poor Uzziah was so tired from all the celebration that he slept most of the time. So as I had him in my arms fast asleep Matthew would open his gifts. Didn't really bother me because he doesn't really understand anyway. But we had a great time. My family started a tradition a few years ago while we wait for midnight to open gifts. We perform a Christmas song or play, like a mini talent show. Matthew, Uzziah, and I performed "We Three Kings", I made crowns and robes for all three of us and sang along to the music. We couldn't get too creative because we were limited with Uzziah. I didn't get any pictures of that on my camera, I'll have to wait for my sister to send them to me so I can post them. These are pictures from Christmas day with Matthew's family.

This is a little gift from one of the doctors that work with Matthew. He is so lucky to work with the people he does. He recieved so much from everyone. I was overwhelmed.

Uzziah @ 3 months

Uzziah turned 3 months Dec. 12th. He has been such a blessing in our family, he is such a good little happy baby. He is holding his head up pretty well and loves to sit up and look around. His favorite thing is to look in the mirror, he makes himself smile every time. And he loves to take baths, he started to figure out that if he kicks the water will splash and he gets so excited. He is a very active little boy always kicking and smiling. He just started to laugh out loud too, it's the cutest thing ever. I love my little guy.

It's Official

The company that Matthew works for, California Eye Professionals, has a website that features each of their doctors. For months now they've been trying to post Matthew's profile and biography on their site. Well, they finally did and it looks great, I'm so proud of him and all that he has accomplished. His patients compliment him all the time and he is doing better with refraction than other optometrists that have been there for years. If you want to take a look the web site is www.caleyepros.com. When you open up the page, on the right hand side there is a section titled Meet the Doctors, look for Matthew Ulibarri, O.D. and click on his name to see his profile.

Pumpkin Patch 2010

I just love pumpkin patches. They are the perfect way to bring in the fall season, my favorite season of the year. The colors are beautiful, the weather is perfect, and the holidays begin...just love it. This year we went to a different pumpkin patch then the one we usually go to and when we got there it looked kinda sad, it wasn't very big at all, but the more we walked around the more we discovered.

They had a petting zoo

a corn maze

pony rides. This is my niece Naomi on the pony. We were all so proud of her getting on it without having mom or dad walking by her side. Horses are her facination, she loves them and has a ton of horse toys and books.

and even pig races
We really had a great time. The only thing was we got there kinda late in the day and the sun went down on us quick. Then we did some pumpkin pickng. Here's Uzziah wanting nothing to do with it.The biggest pumpkin in the patch, it almost looked fake.Pictures while on our hunt for good pumpkins, good enough for carving.

What I'm most excited about is having Uzziah with me for the holidays. Happy Fall everyone.
