Matthew has always dreamed of having a VW bus. Out of all the cars in the world, he's always wanted a bus. Well, a few months ago he started doing some research and found the perfect one. It was in good condition, the owner was close by, and the price was fair. Well, about 3 weeks ago he finally bought it and picked up to drive it home. This is the guy we bought it from, we became good buddies with him. He and his famliy are such nice people. It was a bitter/sweet moment for him as well. It pained him a little to see the bus go. We told him we'd take good care of it. We plan on never selling it, and want to add a few things here and there. But overall it is in great condition.
We are all excited, it is such a fun car. I think the only downfall is the fact that I have to learn how to drive it now. I'm really not looking forward to that because it's a stickshift.

LOL, that reminds me of MY old bus! My senior year in high school I bought 1976 avacado green and white bus with rust on the roof! It was so fun to drive when it wasn't constantly braking down on me, hahaa! Brings back memories. Whenever I would drive past another bus we would always honk and wave at each other like it was a secret club or something!
I can just imagine it now... your eye doctor pulls up in THAT!!! I LOVE IT!! you guys look great and you are looking so cute. I love that grey skirt you were wearing in the temple pics. You look so skinny! Did matt take his Illinois state board then? Are you moving there? Let me know. Hope you had a merry Christmas.
